Our home for the entire Kiss of Death is the J Marklee Toll Station, a relaxing and unpretentious motel in the heart of Markleeville.

 

The owner of the Toll Station, Sandy Matlock, is there to make us all feel at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, and every room has a private bath. Our guests like to relax and socialize outside their rooms after a long day’s ride. Sandy is there every morning to serve us breakfast to order, and on Sunday she hosts a private barbecue for us.

Reservations

The Kiss of Death is by far our most popular trip of the year. It has sold out earlier each year since we began the trip in 2003.
