What type of dining will we be doing?

When researching a trip, we seek out dining options with healthy, fresh choices typical of the California.

Nobody goes hungry on our trips! One of the joys of riding several hours per day is getting to enjoy the dinner afterwards. We give you the choice of ordering anything on a restaurant's menu. Order appetizers, soup, salad, entree, dessert, and beverages. The only thing that isn't included is alcohol. The only exception to the full menu is when a restaurant has prepared a special dinner for us

Breakfasts are either continental style or made to order.

Where and when do we meet at the start of the trip?

We meet at 8:00 AM on the first day of the trip in San Jose, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose

Where does the trip end?

The trip officially ends in the late afternoon on the final day of the tour, in San Jose. You'll have a chance to go for a final spin that morning, shower and pack up your things, and grab a bite to eat before your guides transfer you back to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose.

TripAdvisor Review

Happy Cycling

Had a great time cycling on the Desert Escape Tour. Undiscovered Country Bike Tours really know what's needed to provide exceptional service on a fully supported bike adventure. From start to finish everything was taken care of - from great bikes that were accurately sized, to goodie bags, maps, repair kits, drinks and snacks - they had thought of everything. That combined with a great group of people of all ages and abilities made for a very enjoyable experience. The cycling was challenging but lots of fun - everyone could go at their own pace. Scott and Rick, our guides, were very friendly, fun to hang out with and they went out of their way to make sure everyone was looked after. The accommodations were very comfortable and there were plenty of opportunities to enjoy the facilities at the resorts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend - I'm sure I'll be back for another adventure.
