A charming and peaceful inn on the banks of the Russian River, built in 1906. The building is surrounded by towering redwoods and has eleven stylish guest rooms. Most rooms have panoramic river views with private balconies, while other rooms enjoy peaceful garden views. All rooms have private bathrooms, cable TV, mini fridge, microwave oven, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
The inn boasts a casual bar and outdoor deck over the Russian River for relaxing or socializing.
We selected the Village Inn because it ideally matches what we are looking for on our trips
We believe the setting is an important part of the experience, and the Village Inn is one of our favorites.
This was the best bike trip i have ever been on. First of all: great people. Susan and Laura were wonderful - fun, thoughtful, interesting, knowledgeable, kind, smart, organized. The hotels were great, especially the Santa Ynez Inn - WOW! I have been in the Paso Robles to Solvang area many times but never on the great roads we traveled this trip. And the food! We ate like kings at fantastic places. The bikes are all excellent carbon frame and extremely well maintained. Before the trip, i was sent a tape measure and asked to measure various dimensions of my bike and when i arrived for the six-day tour a perfectly sized bike awaited. The saddle was great and the bike was outfitted with the pedals i needed. Each day our fearless guides took turns riding with us or taking our luggage by van to our next destination. Somehow, in between all this, beautiful picnic spreads magically appeared just when we needed it. Truly, a great, great trip! Can't wait to take another Undiscovered Country Tours trip.
